Society of Scandals
It is often said that every
scandal that makes national
headlines has a South
Florida connection.
More often than not it's true.
Being rich and famous in South Florida often leads to one

BABBLE BACKLASH
How right-wing talk radio got Barack Obama elected
Earlier this year I quit my afternoon radio gig at 850 WFTLAM, an odd little right-wing station nobody down here listens to. The reasons why are not worth recounting, but I will admit that for a time I went slightly mad from being surrounded on-air by bigots and hate mongers. read more...

STAND UP FOR
THE PEOPLE
Commission chairman Joe Sanchez and
other commissioners are terribly wrong for
not standing up with Commissioner
Sarnoff to the County Commission to oppose building a Bay of Pigs museum on
Parcel B [Miami Monthly, 'B is for Bay of
Pigs,' November, 2008]. The county mayor
and commission have been cheating
the people of Miami ever since AA Arena
appeared. read more...
